FIREWORKS OFFICIAL NOTICE

This is a reminder: The City of Imlay City is a zoned community and The Imlay City Commission adopted the Fireworks Ordinance-Chapter 157 to regulate the use of low-impact and consumer fireworks, as well as establish a permitting process for articles of pyrotechnic and display fireworks within the City of Imlay City.

  • 157.06 Enforcement: to provide that the Imlay City PD can enforce violations of this Ordinance as a Civil Infraction with a civil fine of $1,000.00 and allowing the disposal and destruction of fireworks.
